Forgot Password?
There are situations where you might forget your password, but attempting to reset it shouldn’t be too difficult because on the MyChart portal of Texas Health and Human Services, the officials have created a solution for such situations possible.
If you need more help and have forgotten your password, the support staff may assist you by asking a few questions. For instance, your email address, phone number associated with the account, and any other form of identification that confirms ownership of account.
How To Reset Your Texas Health MyChart Password
If you’ve forgotten your password for Texas Health MyChart, you’ll need to go through a password reset process to regain access to your account. Follow these steps to change or set up a new account;
Step 1: You will need to open the MyChart login website and using your web browser, copy the url and go to (https://mychart.texashealth.org/MyChart/Authentication/Login).
Step 2: Just below the login page, find and click on “Forgot Password?” option, as it’s available there. Pls note that you will need to provide your personal information for verification.
Step 3: The personal information being requested as at today comprises the following;
- Your MyChart Username.
- Your Date of Birth.
- Your Zip Code.
Step 4: If you forgot your MyChart Username, you can’t reset it to get a new one but you can retrieve it. However, if you do not remember your Username, simply check all the listed email accounts on your phone and use the keyword Texas Health MyChart Username to search. Whichever comes up with anything relating should be your username. If this doesn’t work for you, you can click on Forgot Username? to recover your username and have it sent to your email.
Step 5: Proceed to click on Next, there’s no need complete any security checks. The system will mail or send you instructions for resetting your password.
Step 6: Check Your Email: If it matches the information on our file, you will receive all the information and link to reset and set you a new password. Check out your Junk or Spam Folders if it fails to land in your inbox.
Step 7: On setting a new password, you must enter a different one from your previous passwords. The new password must contain the minimum characters and should also include the acceptable special character.
